I have to face the truth; I’ve seen a pattern and I am cool with it. I am popular with out-of-state couples. Fact. Like Betsy and Marshall who hail from Nebraska (though Marshall is an Ohio native). And it does make things a little trickier when planning the engagement session because whatever the weather we’ve got to make it work. Fortunately this has been one funky non-Winter here in Ohio so when Betsy and Marshall said it’s gotta be the second weekend in February I had hope…and an indoor backup plan. I always love a chance to shoot at my alma mater, Kent State University and boy howdy does the atrium of the Fashion Museum make a grand place to duck into in inclement weather. And since it was a wee bit chilly we began indoors and then ventured out on campus. Marshall is also a graduate of KSU so we found a few of our mutual favorite spots and showed off some of the campus to Betsy. One thing I have to say about these two is that no matter what crazy stress they had going on, and whistle stop wedding planning is always crazy stressful, they set it aside for an hour and simply enjoyed being with each other in front of my lens.
